TL;DR
Senior Procurement Specialist (Automotive Manufacturing): Managing supplier data, material requirements, orders, deliveries, and raw-material inventory for automotive manufacturing with an accent on supplier performance, stock optimization, and supply continuity. Focus on analyzing MRP results, coordinating component changes, identifying bottlenecks, and reducing excess or obsolete inventory.

Location: Onsite in Cairo, Egypt

What you will do

  • Maintain supplier and article master data and support supplier integration initiatives, including localization, consignment, logistics agreements, and delivery performance evaluation.
  • Review MRP results, process supplier orders, track deliveries, identify bottlenecks, and escalate shortage risks.
  • Maintain optimum raw-material stock levels and reduce excess inventory and obsolete stock.
  • Coordinate ordering and timely delivery of new components for technical changes.
  • Build regular supplier relationships, review delivery performance, and support continuous improvement.
  • Support stock-take and cycle-counting activities to maintain inventory accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
  • More than 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or material planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Fluent English with strong written, spoken, professional communication, and reporting skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including formulas, data analysis, and tracking tools.
  • Strong understanding of MRP logic and inventory control.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SAP.
