Consultant, Supply Chain Planning (Manufacturing): Driving production planning and scheduling at a Thailand manufacturing site with an accent on balancing demand, capacity, materials, and operational readiness. Focus on coordinating Contract Manufacturers, assessing supply chain risks, and aligning global planning, engineering, quality, procurement, and manufacturing stakeholders to meet delivery commitments.
Location: Pathum Tani, Thailand; onsite at a manufacturing site

What you will do
- Drive production planning and scheduling to align customer demand with delivery commitments.
- Develop production plans balancing customer requirements, manufacturing capacity, material availability, and operational constraints.
- Use data, analytical tools, Excel, and mathematically based planning models to support planning decisions.
- Monitor execution, identify gaps, and coordinate corrective actions with internal teams and Contract Manufacturers.
- Assess and escalate risks related to capacity, materials, resources, factory readiness, and manufacturing constraints.
- Present capacity outlooks, risk assessments, planning insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related discipline.
- 10–15 years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning, manufacturing operations, or scheduling.
- Experience owning planning or scheduling activities in telecom, semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or electronics environments.
- Experience with capacity planning, production scheduling, inventory management, surge capacity, and demand/supply planning.
- Experience working with Contract Manufacturers and global supply chain organizations.
- Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in telecommunications, networking, electronics, or advanced manufacturing.
- Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, RapidResponse, or equivalent ERP and supply chain planning systems.
- Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites or global supply networks.
- APICS/ASCM certification or equivalent supply chain credentials.
