ICT Engineer Network (m/f/d) (Cisco)

Location: Košice, Slovakia. Remote working is available only within Slovakia due to European taxation regulations.

Salary: Base salary from €1,300 gross per month, depending on seniority and previous experience; variable pay and other financial benefits are also provided.

What you will do

• Install, configure, maintain, and support LAN, WAN, and wireless infrastructure.
• Perform complex 3rd-level activities to maintain IT services and supporting infrastructure against defined KPIs.
• Diagnose complex incidents and tickets, investigate root causes, and initiate corrective improvements.
• Evaluate, authorize, test, implement, document, and review complex infrastructure changes.
• Plan releases, deployments, migrations, and rollouts, including technical documentation and vendor coordination.
• Create training plans and support the development of other employees.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience and secondary education in information technology.
• Expert knowledge of the core platform and intermediate knowledge of related platforms.
• At least one relevant certification, such as CCNA or JNCIA.
• Knowledge of Cisco, Meraki, Juniper, Mist, or Aerohive networking platforms and technologies including TCP/IP, STP, VLAN, QoS, HSRP/VRRP, wireless, and routing.
• Knowledge of project management and ITIL processes, with analytical, communication, presentation, negotiation, training, and mentoring skills.
• English at upper-intermediate level (B2) is required. German at intermediate level (B1) is an advantage.

Nice to have

• German at intermediate level (B1).
• Experience with on-call duties and independently troubleshooting incidents within the defined area of expertise.
