Physician - Virtual Health Assessment Team

Location: Remote from one of these states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia. Daily work is performed from a home office; occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events. Schedule: full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a 12:00 PM–1:00 PM lunch break.

Salary: $216,406–$284,032 per year, plus benefits and potential annual performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Provide virtual medical care by phone, video, and messaging.
• Supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants in accordance with state regulations.
• Collaborate with medical assistants, registered nurses, and providers across service lines.
• Follow Oscar Medical Group clinical guidelines, policies, laws, and regulations.

Requirements

• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Fluency in Spanish, verified through a proctored assessment.
• At least three years of outpatient family or internal medicine experience.
• Active licensure in at least two core Oscar states, including a Tennessee license and one of Texas or Florida.
• Active IMLCC membership or eligibility to apply, plus willingness to obtain additional state licenses with support.

Nice to have

• At least two years of telemedicine experience.
• Licenses in Missouri, Alabama, or Mississippi.
• Regulatory supervision experience with nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
