Associate Maintenance Technician (Electrical Apprentice)

Location: West Greenwich, Rhode Island, United States; onsite at the ARI site

Salary: USD 61,806.05–83,619.95 per year

What you will do

• Support licensed electricians with daily electrical maintenance activities.
• Operate and maintain backup power, emergency power generation, and UPS systems.
• Troubleshoot and assist with repairing electrical equipment and systems.
• Support operation and maintenance of building fire alarm systems.
• Interpret and update loop sheets, electrical schematics, P&IDs, I/O wiring, and panel drawings.
• Identify workflow interruptions and waste, recommend improvements, and support implementation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability and desire to obtain a Rhode Island Class M Electrician License.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
• Effective computer skills and ability to work constructively with peers and teams.
• Willingness to receive guidance and technical advice.

Nice to have

• Two years of electrical maintenance experience.
• Associate’s degree or a directly related certification.
• Three or more years of combined education, training, and experience in industrial electrical operations and maintenance, instrumentation, measurement, and controls.
