Supplier Quality & Development Engineer

Location: Shanghai, China; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Manage operational supplier quality by validating supplier quality systems and processes.
• Drive approval of supplier parts, materials, and project subcontractor services.
• Coordinate Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities and product surveillance at supplier manufacturing sites.
• Resolve quality, delivery, non-compliance, and project-service issues with suppliers.
• Use supplier quality management systems to monitor quality, delivery, cost, and compliance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement of supplier performance and capability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in a quality function, preferably in supplier quality management.
• Knowledge of quality management, analysis, and improvement tools.
• Innovative mindset with ownership and a focus on driving improvement.
• Ability to meet all local hirify.global employment requirements and processes in China.
