Supplier Quality and Development Engineer-2 (Quality Management)

Location: Shanghai, China; initial training in Austria

What you will do

• Select suppliers against quality requirements for the Chinese market.
• Develop and evaluate supplier relationships and conduct system and process audits.
• Evaluate defective materials, handle supplier complaints, and implement corrective actions.
• Implement and conduct incoming inspections for purchased parts.
• Coordinate organizational and technical quality activities with Research & Development and Sourcing.
• Report to and coordinate quality strategy with B&R headquarters and the Quality Management team in Austria.

Requirements

• Technical education in electrical engineering, electronics, machine manufacturing, or mechatronics, or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in quality management.
• Experience conducting ISO 9001 and VDA 6.3 audits.
• Independent, goal-oriented working style and strong problem-solving skills.
• Good intercultural knowledge of Asian culture.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese required.
