Installation Technician (Telecommunications)

Location: Claremore, Oklahoma, United States; customer-site work at homes and businesses.

Salary: $25.15–$31.39 per hour; average starting salary of $58,841.

What you will do

• Install and activate high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services.
• Put in new lines, identify wire and cable colors, and connect network equipment.
• Work independently at customer homes and businesses while solving installation and service problems.
• Climb ladders and work in small spaces or aloft up to 28 feet.
• Provide customer-focused service while completing installations safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Must work in the Claremore, Oklahoma area and at customer locations.
• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime, and emergency call-outs.
• Hold a valid state driver’s license.
• Lift and move up to 60 pounds, including 50–60-pound ladders.
• Weigh less than 275 pounds for ladder safety and be able to work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Qualify on a pre-employment assessment.
