Benefits Specialist (Health Insurance)

What you will do

• Own the global benefits renewal calendar, reviewing terms, pricing, coverage, cost increases, and coverage gaps.
• Research local requirements and market practices, compare proposals, and launch new benefits plans across multiple countries.
• Oversee enrolments, changes, terminations, billing, invoice reconciliation, employee data, and plan costs.
• Handle employee and client benefits questions and provide guidance on statutory and supplemental benefits.
• Manage relationships with brokers, insurers, local partners, and internal Payroll, Finance, and Legal teams.
• Track market and regulatory changes and document standardised benefits processes that can scale globally.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in employee benefits, benefits administration, insurance, or HR operations.
• Strong knowledge of health insurance and hands-on experience with benefits renewals or new plan implementations.
• Experience reviewing plan proposals and comparing coverage and pricing with brokers or insurers.
• Benefits experience across multiple countries and understanding of differing jurisdictional requirements.
• Analytical, organised, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple renewals and projects.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Experience across EMEA, GCC, APAC, or LATAM benefits markets.
• Benefits benchmarking, market analysis, audits, compliance reviews, or due diligence experience.
• Familiarity with HRIS or benefits administration platforms.
• Background in EOR, PEO, global mobility, international payroll, HR technology, or insurance brokerage.
