SAP HCM and SuccessFactors Programmer Analyst, Expert (SAP)

Location: Hybrid in Oakland, California, with remote work and 1–2 days per week at the Oakland Headquarters. The assigned work location must be within the PG&E Service Territory.

Salary: $128,000–$173,000 expected range; Bay Area range of $128,000–$218,000. Eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Design, develop, configure, debug, and evaluate applications and reports for SAP HCM, SuccessFactors Employee Central, S4HANA, and SAP BTP.
• Build ABAP, ABAP HR, ABAP Objects, Web Dynpro, and SAPUI5 programs, reports, and application extensions.
• Develop integrations between SAP and non-SAP on-premise and cloud applications using OData, web services, CPI, API Management, and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Build SAP BTP extensions with SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, CAP, and RAP models.
• Translate complex business requirements into functional and technical designs and prepare development documentation.
• Lead technically complex projects, guide less experienced programmers, and collaborate with analysts, architects, project managers, and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of programming analysis experience and advanced programming-language experience.
• Strong experience with SAP HCM, SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP Payroll, Time, ABAP, ABAP Objects, and HR ABAP.
• Experience with SAP BTP programming, SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, CAP, RAP, BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, web services, and OData.
• Experience with SAP integration technologies, including CPI, API Management, SAP Cloud Connector, IAS, IPS, workflows, ALE-IDOCs, and BIB replication.
• Experience leading development teams and creating complex test beds, regression tests, reliability assessments, and technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing People Analytics Stories and cross-system reports combining SuccessFactors, SAP Payroll, and Time data.
• Experience enhancing end-user experiences with UI mashups.
