Director, Content Strategy (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY, United States. Hybrid work with in-office collaboration for 10+ days per month, as determined by managers and teams.

Annual base salary: $196,000–$240,000 USD.

What you will do

• Define and scale the global content strategy, editorial standards, brand voice, and content calendar across owned channels.
• Lead and develop writers, social strategists, and multimedia producers, including managers, while setting quality standards and prioritizing company-wide requests.
• Partner with Communications and Growth Marketing on executive thought leadership, announcements, gated reports, website copy, nurture campaigns, and demand generation.
• Translate complex product, technical, regulatory, macroeconomic, and financial topics into clear narratives for buyers, partners, policymakers, and broader audiences.
• Build a high-velocity multimedia production engine spanning video, YouTube, social video, case studies, testimonials, and vertical-specific customer assets.
• Establish scalable content frameworks, champion AI-native workflows, and report to leadership on narrative impact and business contribution.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, or content strategy, preferably in B2B technology or fintech.
• 8+ years building and managing teams, including managers, with a record of developing talent and maintaining high quality standards.
• Experience leading content strategy at scale across a complex global organization with multiple audiences and channels.
• Strong editorial judgment, strategic planning, content creation, and data-driven measurement skills.
• Background at a B2B technology brand, fintech, or financial services company with a strong content culture.
• Fluency in how AI is transforming content production and distribution, plus genuine interest in technology's impact on global financial systems.
