Director, Strategy (B2B Tech and AI)

Location: New York, NY, United States; hybrid with in-office attendance requirements

Base salary: $135,000–$155,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Own strategic direction for B2B technology and AI social content, translating complex technical topics into accessible, culturally relevant communication.
• Develop recurring social formats, including mini-series, livestreams, and platform-specific shows, across multiple productions.
• Partner with creative, production, and social creator teams to maximize organic reach and connect technical products with cultural insights.
• Monitor AI, technology, corporate culture, and social conversations to identify emerging signals, voices, and content formats.
• Deliver reports on social conversations and community sentiment for multiple initiatives.
• Manage junior team members and guide them toward human, culturally grounded insights instead of purely metric-driven analysis.

Requirements

• Experience in brand strategy, social strategy, cultural strategy, advertising, publishing, or a related field.
• Strong leadership experience with a record of mentoring teams and maintaining high-quality strategic output.
• Deep understanding of AI, technology products, social platforms, creator culture, and technical audiences.
• Experience in social strategy, content curation, or community management for nuanced or technical audience segments.
• Exceptional writing skills for reports, cultural stewardship, and point-of-view documents.
• Ability to defend high-concept creative ideas to senior technical and executive stakeholders.
