Manager IV, Materials Project Management (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Onsite role with 10% travel; relocation is not eligible.

Salary: $138,000–$190,000 per year, with potential bonus and stock award eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop and manage integrated materials planning processes covering make-or-buy decisions, capacity planning, scheduling, inventory, materials, and costs.
• Analyze customer demand, sales forecasts, and historical material usage to execute build-to-order and build-to-forecast plans.
• Establish best practices and systems for inventory forecasting, purchasing, material control, and inventory accuracy.
• Manage production scheduling, monitor material inventories, track production progress, and resolve schedule-impacting issues.
• Develop sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships, cost, quality, delivery targets, and supplier scorecards.
• Coordinate with quality, engineering, machining, assembly, finance, and corporate materials teams to support on-time delivery and manage department resources.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of materials management and related operational concepts, theories, and principles.
• Understanding of how materials and supply chain functions contribute to business objectives in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience leading teams and adapting plans to operational and service challenges.
• Ability to identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems.
• Ability to guide, influence, and persuade internal and external stakeholders.
• Compliance with hirify.global' Standards of Business Conduct is required.
