Sr Demand Planner

What you will do

• Lead the local S&OP process and consensus meetings with Commercial, Marketing, and Finance teams.
• Coordinate forecasting, product availability reviews, demand and supply matching, and inventory health tracking.
• Synchronize commercial plans with the monthly demand and supply forecasting cycle.
• Adjust product forecasts using POS and shipping trends, DFC data, and customer and consumer insights.
• Report forecast accuracy, bias, item productivity, inventory projections, and other key metrics.
• Identify demand imbalances, supply constraints, promotional impacts, and inventory risks, then develop mitigation plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain demand planning or forecasting.
• Fluent English in written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of AS400, Tableau, and Cognos.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and cross-functional influencing skills.
• Availability to travel when required and collaborate with cross-regional teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of JDA/Blue Yonder or SAP demand planning tools.
• APICS certification or equivalent.
• Additional language skills.
