Production Planner (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the manufacturing facility in Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru, Malaysia

What you will do

• Review Oracle MRP and related applications to respond to demand changes, safety stock requirements, and master production schedule needs.
• Manage SIOP and R&O meetings for assigned product lines.
• Create and release production orders while coordinating completion dates, component availability, capacity, and resource constraints.
• Schedule production based on reorder points and customer orders while optimizing manufacturing sequences.
• Analyze late-delivery root causes and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor inventory levels, support on-time shipment, and reduce slow-moving and excess inventory.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field, plus at least 6 years of manufacturing plant experience.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling processes.
• Experience with production planning software, ERP systems, and analytical production data.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong collaboration skills and attention to accuracy and efficiency.
