IT Support Specialist (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. The role may require evening and weekend shifts and participation in an on-call rotation.

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day IT support by answering staff inquiries, resolving issues, and handling complaints.
• Track and update incident, request, problem, change, project, and other support documentation.
• Coordinate new-hire onboarding to ensure employees are set up and productive from their first day.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for IT services, systems, and processes.
• Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations as needed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of IT support experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Operational experience in at least two areas including Windows or Linux desktop support, PC hardware, networking, scripting, Active Directory, or Group Policy.
• Experience with desktop imaging, maintenance, troubleshooting, PC assembly and disassembly, and basic TCP/IP and DNS troubleshooting.
• For U.S. office roles, eligibility to meet U.S. Government ITAR export-control requirements is required.
• The role involves prolonged sitting, standing, walking, computer work, and occasional exposure to noise, dust, and fumes in production areas.

Nice to have

• CompTIA A+ or ITIL certification.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, O365, virtualization, and public or private cloud environments.
• Familiarity with AI platforms, prompt writing, evaluation of AI-generated outputs, and AI-driven service automation.
• Experience with IaaS and IaC tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience supporting medium-to-complex end-to-end IT projects.
