What you will do
- Own the financial-products portfolio, including payments processing, banking, lending, instant payouts, territory expansion, and new business opportunities.
- Identify, scope, and lead standalone initiatives from initial concept through product-market fit.
- Track developments across payments, fintech, and embedded finance and translate them into opportunities for members.
- Manage strategic vendors including Stripe, Plaid, Unit, and QuickBooks, covering negotiations, escalations, and roadmap alignment.
- Own product economics such as GPV, take rate, unit economics, margins, fraud-loss appetite, and vendor costs.
- Lead through ownership, clarity, influence, customer insight, and fast decision-making in ambiguous situations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience.
- Deep experience in payments, fintech, or B2B financial products, including platforms such as Stripe, Adyen, Square, Plaid, BaaS, or lending infrastructure.
- Track record of building products from 0 to 1 and scaling live products to product-market fit.
- Experience acting as an executive counterpart to vendor and partner leadership.
- Experience with payments expansion between the US and international markets, including the UK, EU, or Australia.
- Experience handling regulatory and fraud challenges, with the ability to understand pricing, margins, contracts, and P&L implications.
