Senior Financial Analyst - Disney Entertainment Television

Location: Burbank, California, United States

Salary: $104,800–$128,000 per year, plus potential bonus and/or long-term incentive units.

Disney Entertainment Television manages content finance and business planning for television brands including ABC Entertainment, FX, Disney Kids & Family, Nat Geo, Onyx, and Freeform.

What you will do

• Prepare annual operating plans, long-range plans, and quarterly forecasts for content amortization, development, and production spend by title.
• Build and maintain detailed financial forecasting models.
• Standardize content and development reporting across brands to improve consistency and decision-making.
• Prepare variance analysis against forecasts, budgets, prior-year results, and prior plans.
• Track key forecast risks and opportunities and provide ad hoc financial support for operational issues and executive inquiries.
• Identify automation and technology opportunities, including AI integration, to simplify finance processes and improve reporting accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, accounting, studio finance, or a related entertainment-industry role.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience using AI, automation, and advanced analytics tools to improve financial processes and forecasting.
