Platform Engineer

Location: Remote Canada or Remote UK

Compensation range: CAD 79,400–104,500 annually

What you will do

• Maintain and secure global ingress routing and gateway infrastructure.
• Migrate fragmented legacy edge infrastructure to modern decentralised gateway platforms.
• Build resilient, observable traffic-routing capabilities with Platform, Security, and Engineering teams.
• Create automation and tooling that improves platform adoption and reduces manual support work.
• Contribute to multi-environment deployment pipelines, technical documentation, and runbooks.
• Participate in a rotational on-call program for platform stability and incident response.

Requirements

• Experience with public-facing traffic routing, reverse proxies, or API gateways in production.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and containerised environments.
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
• Working proficiency in Go, Python, C#, or a similar modern programming language.
• Experience delivering infrastructure changes to live production services with minimal disruption.
• Clear technical writing and effective communication of progress, risks, and blockers.
