Customer Line Mechanical Quality (Aerospace)

Location: Mobile, Alabama, United States; 100% onsite

hirify.global manufactures commercial aircraft at its U.S. facility in Mobile, producing A320 Family and A220 aircraft.

What you will do

• Perform visual, incoming, first article, final, and technical inspections during aircraft production and flightline operations.
• Inspect mechanical, fuel, hydraulic, and flight control systems against design, customer, and certification requirements.
• Document inspection results, aircraft records, production orders, and first article inspection reports.
• Support troubleshooting, Functional Test Procedures, and Quality Survey requests.
• Compile non-conformance data, initiate quality discrepancy sheets, and track components through the non-conformance process.
• Audit rework orders, workbooks, PV approvals, and adherence to manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma and approximately 5 years of relevant experience with mechanical and/or structural components and assemblies.
• Experience as a mechanic or technician is desirable; airline experience is also desirable.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, drawing systems, inspection plans, inspection coordination, and production-line practices.
• Ability to use length-measuring and other mechanical inspection tools.
• English communication skills are required for work in a multicultural and multifunctional environment.
• Must be eligible for employment in the United States without sponsorship.
