Entry Level Energy Engineer (HVAC)

Location: Tampa, Florida; on-site five days per week. The 15-week Graduate Training Program includes in-person training at various company sites, with travel to multiple locations. The posting notes that some opportunities may be remote or hybrid, while this position is designated on-site.

Salary: $75,000 annual base salary.

What you will do

• Complete a 15-week rotational Energy Engineer development program with technical, business, and leadership training.
• Analyze utility rate structures, supply-side options, and their economic impact in customer environments.
• Qualify clients and opportunities and prepare preliminary and detailed energy audit scopes.
• Conduct building walk-throughs and identify architectural, mechanical, and electrical energy conservation measures.
• Assist with energy simulation models using fundamental HVAC principles and provide consultations on energy use, building operations, indoor environmental quality, and asset management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Energy, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; graduation must be completed before the start date.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to travel to various in-person destinations during the 15-week training program.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, proof of insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
• The role is safety sensitive and may require additional drug screening.
