Mortgage Loan Officer

Location: Dover, Delaware, United States; in-office position

Base salary: $41,250–$68,750 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Recommend mortgage loan solutions aligned with lending guidelines and customer requirements.
• Manage a portfolio of customer relationships and pursue opportunities to retain and develop clients.
• Conduct sales calls and support customer-focused mortgage sales activities.
• Prepare loan solutions, refer relevant products and services, and review documentation for compliance.
• Manage the customer pipeline and coordinate mortgage transactions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collect and analyze financial information for multifaceted and complex borrowers.

Requirements

• University or college degree with less than one year of professional experience, or successful completion of a formal development program; comparable education, certification, experience, or military service may be considered instead.
• Knowledge of mortgage products, banking products, loan origination, financial analysis, and sales.
• Ability to manage customer relationships, communicate effectively, and develop customer solutions.
• Ability to assess and manage business risks in accordance with the enterprise risk management framework.
• Must work in the Dover/North-Central Delaware in-office setting.
• Employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not available.
