Mortgage Loan Officer (Mortgage Lending)

Location: Woburn, Massachusetts, United States

Commission-based compensation; historically $100,000–$250,000 per year depending on performance and productivity.

What you will do

• Build and maintain referral relationships with realtors, builders, professional contacts, and personal networks.
• Identify and develop new residential mortgage lending opportunities.
• Interview new and existing customers to determine loan needs and recommend suitable products, terms, and pricing.
• Generate complete mortgage applications while following required procedures and policies.
• Achieve sales, referral, branch, and personal productivity goals.
• Participate in community homeownership initiatives, professional organizations, and capability-building opportunities.

Requirements

• Two or more years of retail residential mortgage sales experience.
• Documented residential mortgage loan volume of at least $8 million during the past 12 months.
• Established relationships with local referral networks.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and experience using laptop technology.
• BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent residential mortgage sales experience; compliance with SAFE Act requirements, background checks, and obtaining an NMLS Unique Identifier are required.
