Mortgage Loan Officer

Location: In-office role based in North Carolina, including Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, Wilmington, Winston-Salem, or Greensboro; primary location listed as Charlotte, NC 28277.

What you will do

• Recommend mortgage loan solutions aligned with lending guidelines and customer requirements.
• Manage a portfolio of customer relationships and pursue opportunities to retain and develop clients.
• Conduct sales calls and manage the customer pipeline for efficiency.
• Prepare loan solutions, refer relevant products and services, and review documentation for compliance.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to complete mortgage transactions.
• Collect and analyze financial information from multifaceted and complex borrowers.

Requirements

• University or college degree with less than one year of professional experience, or completion of a formal development program; an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of mortgages, banking products, loan origination, financial analysis, customer relationships, and sales.
• Ability to manage customer experience, communicate effectively, sell, schedule work, and manage risk.
• Additional background checks may be required under Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations, FDIA, and mortgage licensing regulations.
