What you will do
- Lead FEM and digital analysis activities supporting stress analysis and structural justifications.
- Build, develop, and extract results from global, detailed, and integrated finite element models.
- Work with Loads, Design, Stress Analysis, internal engineering teams, offshore teams, and suppliers.
- Manage work packages, support in-service repairs, and provide technical guidance on finite element results.
- Develop future finite element analysis methods, processes, tools, and team capabilities.
- Deploy EVE, NGSA, and FDNS for future aircraft programs and support training for early-career engineers.
Requirements
- Aerospace Engineering degree or master's degree with relevant engineering experience.
- Experience in aerospace structural analysis engineering and understanding of stress analysis methods.
- Knowledge of static strength behavior, loading, and failure modes in aircraft structures.
- Knowledge and experience with both metallic and composite structures.
- Understanding of airworthiness regulations and the ability to deliver technically correct work under time constraints.
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge and experience with finite element analysis and FEA tools.
- Experience with design principles, processes, methods, and manufacturing capabilities.
- Previous experience.
- Experience with wing structures, including metallic and composite structures.
- Automation skills, including EVE workflow development.
