Logistics Engineer

Location: Davidson, North Carolina, United States. Hybrid schedule with onsite work Monday through Thursday; Friday work location is flexible based on business needs. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Annual base salary: $56,300.00–$101,394.99.

What you will do

• Collect and analyze logistics data to measure network performance and benchmark inbound and outbound transportation and distribution networks.
• Design, configure, and implement logistics solutions and process improvement projects that improve productivity, delivery, cost, and sustainability.
• Collaborate with Materials, Distribution, Logistics leaders, carriers, suppliers, and visibility partners to maintain continuous product flow and process compliance.
• Identify waste, lead or support process improvement, productivity ideation, value stream mapping, and standardized process initiatives.
• Develop decision models, maintain transportation management system configurations and data integrity, and support logistics planning, procurement, freight payment, and supply chain technology.
• Design Tableau dashboards and share best practices for process design, network performance, and KPI reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong project management, communication, analytical, problem-solving, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
• Basic knowledge of procurement, transportation management, operations, freight payment, freight claims, and logistics concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects, develop effective solutions, and work with ambiguous spend data.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office, Dataiku, and Tableau is preferred; transportation management system knowledge is a plus.
