Security Analyst Associate, GRC

What you will do

• Investigate security alerts and help improve the accuracy of detection controls.
• Support incident response standards, procedures, severity assessments, and cyber-resilience improvements.
• Analyze the enterprise security environment, identify control gaps, and evaluate information security risks.
• Assess vulnerabilities, coordinate risk treatment, and maintain endpoint protection infrastructure.
• Collaborate with vendors, network teams, technology support teams, and internal departments to improve security controls and documentation.
• Perform daily operational security tasks and investigate fraud and other computer-related issues.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in information security or a related area.
• Working knowledge of networks, TCP/IP, security controls, proxies, IPS, IDS, firewalls, and packet analyzers.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Linux/UNIX, software development or scripting languages, incident response, and threat and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of NIST, HIPAA, PCI, ISO 27001/27002, and ITIL governance and compliance standards.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, task tracking, follow-up, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Security+, GSEC, GCWN, GCED, or CEH certification or coursework.
