ADABAS Database Administrator or ADABAS Natural Developer (ADABAS)

What you will do

• Maintain, monitor, and optimize ADABAS database systems and environments.
• Perform backups, restores, routine maintenance, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Plan and implement upgrades, maintenance, patches, and emergency fixes for ADABAS, Natural, Software AG, and third-party products.
• Conduct database performance tuning and use database utilities and monitoring tools.
• Support disaster recovery exercises and collaborate with mainframe systems programmers on operational and performance issues.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support and maintain documentation for completed work.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as an ADABAS Database Administrator or ADABAS Natural Developer.
• Experience with the ADABAS Natural environment, database structures, utilities, and performance tuning.
• Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Knowledge of third-party database management and monitoring tools.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Australian citizenship and Federal Government Clearance (NV1), or eligibility to apply, are required.
