Analyst in Health Technology Assessment Strategy and Implementation (Health Economics and HTA)

Location: Based in Spain, Greece, Portugal or South Africa, with flexibility regarding office and home working; the position may involve occasional office visits. The advertised locations are Barcelona or Madrid.

What you will do

• Develop UK HTA and HEOR materials, including dossier writing, HTA landscape reviews, literature reviews, and submission support.
• Support early HTA scientific advice, health economic model development and adaptations, and pricing negotiation activities.
• Contribute to multi-country HTA and HEOR projects across products, therapeutic areas, and markets.
• Collaborate with technical consultants, Market Access, Patient-Centered Solutions, HTA Accelerator Solutions, database studies, and local teams.
• Prepare conference abstracts, posters, and white papers, and guide interns working on HTA-focused thesis topics.
• Support business development by developing knowledge of global HTA and HEOR offerings.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline such as HTA, health economics, economics, life sciences, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, medicine, or pharmacy.
• At least one year of relevant experience or internships.
• Knowledge of HTA and health economics methodologies, including UK and European HTA processes, economic modelling, real-world economic evidence, utility measurement, or costing studies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, time-management, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent conversational and business English is required; applications must be submitted in English.
• Knowledge of statistical methods, biostatistics, health economic modelling, and statistical software such as STATA or R is desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience with consulting methodologies or healthcare consulting.
• Experience in the life sciences industry or academia.
• Familiarity with research design, methodology, conduct, reporting, critical appraisal, and synthesis of healthcare evidence.
