What you will do

• Lead and mentor experienced multidisciplinary computational discovery scientists across bioinformatics and molecular modelling.
• Define and execute computational strategies for target identification, validation, and molecular design.
• Provide scientific leadership to cross-functional R&D programs from early discovery through translational research.
• Collaborate with Disease Biology, Molecules, Translational, Clinical, and data science teams.
• Represent computational discovery in strategic discussions, governance forums, and committees.
• Shape long-term data science strategy through technology scouting and external scientific partnerships.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computational Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in computational discovery or related fields, including leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of drug discovery and translational research workflows.
• Proven ability to lead teams in matrixed R&D environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
