Scientist I (Fragrance Delivery Systems)

What you will do

• Conduct experimental research to develop proprietary fragrance delivery systems and related technologies.
• Design technical approaches and experimental plans under the guidance of senior technical staff.
• Prepare laboratory samples, prototypes, and formulations for internal and external evaluation.
• Execute bench-level experiments, characterization studies, performance evaluations, and stability testing.
• Analyze and document data, interpret results, and recommend next steps.
• Collaborate with scientists, process engineers, analytical teams, sensory and performance teams, and manufacturing partners on assigned project activities.

Requirements

• PhD in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Colloid Science, Physical Chemistry, or a closely related field.
• Strong foundation in chemistry, materials, polymers, colloids, formulations, interfacial science, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience designing, executing, and interpreting laboratory research.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, technical curiosity, and written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently within an assigned technical area and collaborate in multidisciplinary, technically diverse teams.
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with encapsulation, microencapsulation, fragrance or flavor delivery systems, controlled release, or consumer product formulation.
• Experience with analytical characterization, stability testing, performance evaluation, or formulation screening.
• Scientific publications, research presentations, invention disclosures, or contributions to patentable technology concepts.
