Oncology RWE/Epi Scientist, Senior Manager (Real-World Evidence)

What you will do

• Design, support, and lead global real-world evidence and epidemiologic studies across oncology pipeline assets and approved products.
• Synthesize scientific literature and develop epidemiology reviews, RWE insights, protocols, reports, presentations, and regulatory responses.
• Generate rapid insights from observational data and assess the strengths and limitations of available data sources and study designs.
• Partner with Chief Medical Office colleagues, internal stakeholders, external data partners, regulatory authorities, and medical professionals.
• Support global regulatory submissions to the FDA, EMA, and other agencies while maintaining research quality, compliance, and delivery efficiency.
• Track requests, project progress, metrics, and business goals, and participate in peer review of study protocols and reports.

Requirements

• PhD in Epidemiology, Statistics, Biostatistics, Health Outcomes Research, Quantitative Methods, Public Health, Health Economics, or a related biological science field with a substantial quantitative component and at least 1 year of relevant experience; or a relevant master's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong quantitative skills and experience generating insights from real-world or observational data sources.
• Technical writing and oral presentation skills, with a record of peer-reviewed publications and presentations at medical or scientific conferences.
• Ability to manipulate and analyze complex structured and unstructured data from multiple RWE sources and convert analyses into meaningful insights using data visualization and presentation tools.
• Ability to work autonomously under pressure, provide leadership on research projects, and collaborate in a matrixed environment.
• Knowledge of the external regulatory environment for RWE and current developments in epidemiology, medicine, and technology, including artificial intelligence.
