Senior Workday Developer (Workday)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$170,000 annually

What you will do

• Design advanced, composite, matrix, and custom Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
• Configure business processes, condition rules, approval routing, and security models across HCM and Finance.
• Develop Workday Extend applications, PRISM Analytics solutions, and report-driven integrations.
• Partner with HR, payroll, finance, product, engineering, and operations stakeholders to translate requirements into maintainable configurations.
• Support tenant refreshes, regression testing, production troubleshooting, and Workday release adoption.
• Document configuration and security models, provide best-practice guidance, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• U.S. work authorization is required; eligible candidates include U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates.
• New H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.
• Eight or more years of Workday technical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Deep expertise in Workday Report Writer, advanced and composite reports, calculated fields, business processes, condition rules, and the Workday security framework.
• Experience with Workday Extend or PRISM Analytics, tenant management, release processes, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication.

Nice to have

• Workday Pro certifications.
• Experience with Workday Extend application development or PRISM data ingestion and modeling.
• Exposure to multi-tenant or multi-region deployments.
• Experience supporting Workday Payroll or Workday Financials.
