Clinical Sales Specialist (AI/MedTech)

Location: Remote from Germany, supporting customers and partners across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland; ability to travel 80% in the DACH region is required.

What you will do

• Deliver clinical applications support, equipment demonstrations, evaluations, and application training for customers and channel partners.
• Support Account Managers with sales negotiations, product configurations, and solutions aligned with customer needs and Leica standards.
• Provide after-sales application support by analyzing customer requests and coordinating with Service, Sales, Customer Service, and Business Unit stakeholders.
• Create product and application materials, including slide decks and videos, and continuously train the sales force.
• Support new product launches, beta testing, New Product Introduction, and PMCF activities.
• Collect customer feedback on product requirements and future applications for Product Managers.

Requirements

• Clinical knowledge sufficient to demonstrate the benefits of Leica’s surgical portfolio.
• Experience developing training materials and hosting product trainings and workshops.
• Ability to support sales teams with technical product-application requirements.
• Fluent English and German required.
• Ability to travel 80% across the DACH region, with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment.

Nice to have

• At least three years of technical support experience in a healthcare company.
• Application support experience with complex products and services.
• Microsurgery or ophthalmology experience.
• Confidence communicating with customers with different levels of technical and clinical expertise.
• Strong customer focus and ability to identify needs and develop appropriate solutions.
