Associate, Global Investment Banking (Financial Institutions)

Location: On-site full-time in Toronto, Canada at 161 Bay St., 6th.

Base salary: $135,000 annualized, plus participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program.

What you will do

• Support mergers and acquisitions, brokerage transactions, divestitures, equity and debt financings, and strategic advisory projects.
• Conduct transaction-related due diligence and present findings internally.
• Prepare investor presentations, client proposals, and road show marketing materials.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, advisors, product specialists, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate information flow and collaborate with legal, accounting, audit, and cross-functional teams on deal execution.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in real estate, investment banking, corporate finance, and/or private equity.
• Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of valuation techniques, accounting principles, financial statements, and business combinations.
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, and FactSet.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong judgment, professionalism, and relationship-building abilities.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Nice to have

• CA, CPA, or CFA designation.
• Professional-level knowledge of the Canadian real estate sector.
• Experience with Argus Enterprise.
