Associate/Sr. Associate, Investments - Capital Partnerships

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 CAD annually

What you will do

• Support the creation and structuring of investment products across renewable power and energy transition strategies.
• Research new sectors and conduct preliminary screening of potential investment opportunities.
• Support the execution, structuring, and negotiation of equity capital solutions, including co-investments, continuation vehicles, yieldcos, club deals, joint ventures, minority stake sales, and broader capital partnerships.
• Lead selected transaction execution workstreams and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, timelines, risks, and milestones.
• Prepare investment memoranda, financial models, due diligence materials, data rooms, and investor-ready messaging.
• Engage institutional investors, manage inquiries, support investor diligence, and communicate hirify.global's investment approach and transaction highlights.

Requirements

• 3–8 years of experience in investment banking, direct investments, co-investment structuring, or syndication.
• Strong transactional experience in private markets.
• Undergraduate degree in business or finance.
• Ability to assess complex quantitative and qualitative information and make effective recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, project management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to independently lead selected transaction execution workstreams and manage junior team members.

Nice to have

• Experience in renewables, power, energy, or infrastructure.
