Blockchain Developer (DAML)

Location: Remote, with remote, in-office, or hybrid options available.

What you will do

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain Canton-based applications using Daml.
• Analyze, program, test, and debug applications on a Daml-based platform.
• Translate client requirements into technical specifications and develop Daml smart contracts.
• Identify and resolve production and non-production application issues.
• Create documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor team members and support a collaborative learning environment.

Requirements

• English: Upper-intermediate level or higher required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with DAML required.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong programming skills in languages such as Scala or Haskell.
• Strong understanding of distributed ledger technologies and their applications in financial services.
• Experience with relational databases, APIs, REST, gRPC, PKI, and message queuing systems.

Nice to have

• Understanding of Canton public and private networks.
• Experience with functional programming.
• Knowledge of other blockchain protocols, including EVM-based protocols.
