Salary: $19.13–$25.83 per hour

What you will do
- Assist healthcare providers with patient treatments and direct or indirect patient care.
- Perform basic tasks, screening procedures, laboratory testing, and specimen collection.
- Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition and document care provided.
- Maintain examination areas, medical equipment, and supplies, including stocking, cleaning, troubleshooting, and reordering.
- Support clerical functions such as reception, scheduling, filing, data entry, billing, and patient registration.
Requirements
- At least one year of recent clinic assistant experience in a physician office or hospital, completion of a medically related training program, or current enrollment in a medically related college degree program.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support certification from an American Heart Association-accredited source within 90 days for Health Network hires; certification is required on the first day for Academic Medical System hires.
- Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor when interacting with patients and clinical staff.
