Clinical Nurse, Inpatient Psychiatry Full-Time Nights

Location: 251 E. Huron, Chicago, IL, United States; onsite night shift

Salary: USD 36.50–58.40 per hour

What you will do

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent, evidence-based nursing care for assigned inpatient psychiatry patients.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and document individualized nursing plans of care.
• Advocate for patient safety, rights, dignity, and culturally sensitive care.
• Educate patients, families, students, and team members while supporting recovery and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, delegate appropriately, and communicate complete information during handoffs.
• Participate in quality improvement, professional development, mentoring, and shared leadership initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school or college of nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
• Analytical, communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and keyboard skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in the relevant clinical area.
• Nursing specialty certification, if eligible.
