Supplier Quality & Development Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead supplier assessments, qualification, development, and sample approval for fan motors, variable-frequency drives, motor brakes, and encoders.
• Manage operational supplier quality activities both onsite and offsite, including supplier KPIs and performance targets.
• Provide technical and process guidance for casting, machining, injection molding, assembly, and other manufacturing processes.
• Analyze nonconformities, coordinate corrective and preventive actions, and verify their effectiveness.
• Identify improvement opportunities and continuously strengthen supplier capability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of work experience, including quality-related project promotion; engineering or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and the ability to communicate their requirements accurately.
• Practical proficiency with automotive quality tools and cause-investigation methods such as PDCA, RCA, 8D, and DMAIC.
• Excellent communication, cooperation, and influencing skills when working with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Ability to follow SQE principles and hirify.global requirements.
