CMOS FEOL Reliability Engineering Intern (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Support reliability qualification and monitoring for advanced CMOS technologies manufactured at Fab 8.
• Analyze wafer-level and fast wafer-level reliability test data using statistical and engineering methods.
• Investigate degradation mechanisms, process factors, and device factors affecting long-term reliability.
• Develop automated data-analysis, reporting, dashboard, and visualization solutions for reliability trends.
• Improve statistical monitoring, excursion detection, and reliability risk assessment methods.
• Collaborate with device, process integration, product, yield, and laboratory engineering teams on qualification and root-cause investigations.

Requirements

• At least a sophomore pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and good academic standing.
• English fluency required for written and verbal communication.
• Availability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, independent-working, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of semiconductor devices, manufacturing processes, reliability concepts, wafer-level reliability, or laboratory testing.
• Familiarity with statistical data-analysis techniques.
• Experience with Python, JMP, Minitab, Excel, Power BI, or similar analysis and visualization tools.
• Prior internship or co-op, leadership, project management, planning, or organizational experience.
• Interest in using AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity and decision-making.
