AMS Validation Intern, BS - Summer 2027 (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Set up and run electrical laboratory measurements on analog and communication circuits.
• Use oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers for hardware and silicon validation.
• Create and improve Python automation scripts to remotely collect data and cover test cases.
• Document test procedures and results in weekly status updates.
• Collect and analyze measurement data and present conclusions to the group.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, with expected graduation between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028.
• Solid foundation in analog circuit design fundamentals and interest in laboratory measurement of electronic chips and photonic integrated circuits.
• Methodical problem-solving skills, including debugging hardware issues and tracing root-cause circuit behavior.
• Strong data presentation and communication skills.
• Interest in writing Python automation scripts and familiarity with Git, Confluence, and Jira.
• Applicants must be eligible to access export-controlled technology under U.S. export control laws; some applicants may require an export license review.
