Manager - New Product Integration, SFO (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead NPI engineers and technicians through manufacturing integration and new product development deliverables.
• Drive plant-level operations deliverables, including fulfillment strategies, PFEP, operations certification, capacity evaluation, costing, supply chain integrity, and process development.
• Build project plans, manage risks and resources, coordinate milestones, and support on-time product launches.
• Work with design engineering to identify and resolve manufacturing challenges using DFX principles, including DFM, DFA, and DFD.
• Present project status and escalations to operations leadership while coordinating with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, safety, purchasing, and marketing functions.
• Drive process improvements, time-to-market improvements, and launch quality and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited engineering or engineering technology program.
• At least 8 years of experience in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing engineering, project management, or new product development engineering.
• At least 2 years of direct experience leading engineering resources.
• Experience with gated new product development, DFSS principles, value engineering, and multiple manufacturing processes such as assembly, casting, forging, injection molding, stamping, or finishing.
• Ability to coach teams, resolve conflicts, manage projects independently, and communicate clearly across functions and leadership levels.
• Training in DFMA techniques and software.
