Production Technician III, Power Generation - 1st Shift

Location: Seguin, Texas, United States; onsite, Monday–Thursday, 5:48 a.m.–4:18 p.m.; overtime as required

Salary: $20.50–$24.75 per hour

What you will do

• Assemble diesel generators and align, secure, and install engine components, gaskets, seals, wiring, hoses, covers, and visual components.
• Use schematics and part prints to verify component alignment and inspect materials for defects.
• Perform torque audits, leak tests, visual inspections, quality audits, and defect-resolution activities.
• Support continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, countermeasures, and cross-functional problem solving.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety requirements while providing process information to supervisors and managers.
• Train and develop new production technicians as needed.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of manufacturing experience or a relevant college degree.
• Mechanical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Intermediate experience with computers, tablets, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with standard operating procedures or standard work.
• Ability to work onsite in Seguin, Texas and lift up to 35 pounds.

Nice to have

• At least one year of product assembly experience.
• Experience reading complex electrical assembly instructions or working with electrical cabinets.
• Experience using PLEX.
• Forklift, tugger, or other powered-equipment operating experience or certification.
• Experience leading or training others.
