Consultant, OTC Derivatives Documentation

Location: Toronto, Canada; work arrangement details, including the proportion of on-site and remote work, will be discussed during the interview.

What you will do

• Support daily OTC confirmations and mark-to-market client statements across equity, interest-rate, commodity, and FX option products.
• Develop, review, and match ISDA trade confirmations for complex and exotic OTC derivatives.
• Review mark-to-market valuations, verify pricing and models, and ensure data accuracy across asset classes.
• Analyze option payoffs, cash settlements, booking model features, and price sensitivities.
• Reconcile booking system data with legal documentation and resolve complex issues and disputes.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Legal, Technology, and other stakeholders to improve processes and reporting.

Requirements

• Legal eligibility to work in Canada and a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• Advanced knowledge of OTC derivative structures, complex and exotic products, and ISDA Derivatives Definitions.
• Strong mathematical, quantitative, analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in VBA, Power Automate, Tableau, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
• Experience with programming languages and analytical or big-data tools such as SAS, SQL, Python, R, Hadoop, Spark, Alteryx, Tableau, or Cognos.
• Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, engineering, physics, business, or an equivalent quantitative field.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as MMA, MBAN, MSc, MA, or MBA.
• Experience exploring or piloting artificial intelligence solutions for operational processes.
