Limited Energy Purchasing Manager

Location: Eagan, Minnesota, United States; office-based role

Salary: $112,640–$163,840 annually

What you will do

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of buyers while establishing procurement best practices and negotiation strategies.
• Manage supplier vetting, vendor relationships, supplier performance reviews, and strategic partnerships.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies supporting project schedules, budgets, service standards, and centralized purchasing.
• Oversee purchasing of materials, tools, equipment, and inventory for assigned business units.
• Identify purchase-consolidation opportunities and analyze purchasing and market trends to improve cost efficiency.
• Report procurement activities, costs, savings, and supplier performance to the VP of Purchasing and support negotiations on commercial and payment terms.

Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Electrical, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of procurement or supply chain management experience in the limited energy construction industry.
• Proven experience with supplier negotiations and cost management.
• Strong understanding of electrical components and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
