Sr. Manager, Product Control

Location: Toronto, ON — Toronto-81 Bay. The proportion of on-site and remote work will be discussed during the interview. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and may need a valid work or study permit.

What you will do

• Own daily and month-end product control deliverables for Global Equity Derivatives and Cash Equity business lines.
• Prepare and review daily P&L, financial estimates, risk reporting, Valuation Adjustment, and Independent Price Verification reports.
• Perform month-end financial and general ledger reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Improve, automate, and standardize control processes to increase efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.
• Partner with front office, risk management, finance, accounting, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and support decision-making.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in product control, finance, or a related capital markets environment.
• Strong technical skills in VBA and Excel.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for investigating variances and resolving reporting issues.
• Experience collaborating with front office, risk, finance, and accounting teams.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
