Sr. Financial Analyst, Capital Markets Finance

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site

What you will do

• Coordinate the Calculation Agent function for structured notes issued globally.
• Review and explain settlement calculations, determinations, and settlement instructions.
• Investigate differences between independent and source-system calculations and coordinate resolution or escalation.
• Work with Structured Notes Trading, Structuring, Sales, Treasury, Legal, and other Capital Markets teams.
• Support Structured Notes operational projects, provide subject-matter expertise, and improve processes and efficiency.

Requirements

• Experience working with Capital Markets products in a Finance, Accounting, or Product Control environment.
• Ability to investigate complex problems, interpret data, and communicate detailed information clearly.
• Strong conceptual, organizational, proactive, and self-discipline skills.
• Ability to anticipate challenges, develop workable project plans, and deliver accurate results on time.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to provide a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Nice to have

• CPA, CFA, FRM, MFin, or another relevant professional designation, completed or in progress.
• Additional Capital Markets experience.
