What you will do

• Teach 12 credit hours per semester in undergraduate and graduate computer science courses.
• Teach subjects such as programming, data structures and algorithms, telecommunications and networks, artificial intelligence, cyber security, and related courses.
• Direct undergraduate and graduate research or other applied student learning experiences.
• Conduct research and scholarly activity, maintain an active research agenda, and publish in the field of expertise.
• Advise students on careers, foster connections with community organizations, and contribute to general education and campus life.
• Support student recruitment and retention efforts and maintain a strong campus presence.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Cyber Security, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related area; candidates with a confirmed Ph.D. completion date may be considered.
• Commitment to undergraduate and graduate education.
• Evidence of an active research agenda and ability to publish in the field of expertise.
• Ability to teach computer science courses across relevant undergraduate and graduate subjects.
• Ability to work on campus in Victoria, Texas.
