Base salary: $80,000–$144,000 per year, plus eligibility for sales incentive compensation.

What you will do

  • Sell Ethicon surgical devices and solutions to surgeons, hospital decision makers, and assigned healthcare institutions.
  • Grow the energy and endomechanical product platforms within the assigned territory.
  • Demonstrate the proper use of products to clinicians in the operating-room environment.
  • Manage account priorities, analyze sales opportunities, develop business plans, and attain territory forecasts.
  • Conduct compliant sales presentations, handle customer questions and objections, and educate customers through seminars.
  • Build relationships with physicians, hospital personnel, authorized distributors, external partners, and key opinion leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 4+ years of relevant business experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology sales, or healthcare.
  • Demonstrated achievement of sales objectives.
  • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
  • Ability to work with surgeons and hospital decision makers in an operating-room sales environment.
  • Ability to conduct sales activities ethically and within healthcare compliance requirements.

Nice to have

  • Hospital-based pharmaceutical or medical device experience, especially operating-room sales.
  • Experience developing new and innovative markets.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, time-management, and planning skills.
  • Experience targeting accounts, executing daily action plans, and collaborating with marketing, strategic account managers, distributors, and key opinion leaders.
